Hustle & Grind has an unhappy ending
Hustle & Grind has an unhappy ending

Most business owners & leaders don’t underachieve because they’re lazy or lack knowledge.

They underachieve because they are overfunctioning on the WRONG stuff and calling it ‘hard work’.

Overfunctioning is recognizable by the high fuel burn rate and simultaneous stuckness or stagnation on the more important stuff – business or personal.

Overfunctioning is doing more than your share in places that don’t move the needle on the MVPs (most valuable priorities).

You take responsibility for things are aren’t yours to own.  You grip the stick too hard.

Like feeling responsible for & protecting everyone else’s emotions.  So you don’t give the honest & candid feedback that others need to hear right away.

Like running your business & strategy in your head, because you don’t realize how inefficient that is.

Like lack of clarity on what your ‘Top One’ is.

Like taking on tasks your team could do, because you can do it faster or better.   And besides, it feels good to be ‘needed’.   What would you do if you weren’t ‘needed’?

Like consistently working ‘after hours’ & weekends because boundaries are empty promises to yourself.

Like needing 95% certainty on a tough decision, when 75% would do.

Like skipping or not refining your marketing.

Like not practicing better sales conversions.

Like wanting growth without discomfort.

All of those prohibit real growth & leadership.

The only way beyond is through.   And that takes intentional clarity & courage.

I like to say I powerfully coach people at the intersection of clarity & courage.

That’s where they overcome the resistance & drag, and create REAL, lasting change for themselves.

Why else would we be here??
