The 50% More Happiness Hack You Haven’t Tried Yet

What if your happiness wasn’t about working harder, earning more, or chasing the next big win?
What if it could shift by 50% or more… from one simple practice most people never try?
This isn’t fluff… it’s a mindset reset that changes how you experience life, every single day.
Know thyself.
Inherently, deep inside, you know this maxim to be true.
Some truths you don’t need to question…but you could of course.
When something that your soul knows to be true is said, you just feel the alignment of it.
That’s true of ‘know thyself’.
And if I asked you why it’s important to know yourself well, what would your answer be?
Most people’s is…well, ummm, because, when you know yourself you are happier!
And that’s true!
Yet if we dig a layer deeper though, it’s true for so many important reasons. Yes many of the reasons are the ones you’d expect – greater clarity for self, great compassion for self, the feeling of spiritual freedom, and authentic fulfillment.
And when you really think about them, they’re enough on their own. Truly, deeply meaningful.
But there’s something else.
When you really get to know yourself, you get boundaries. You feel totally comfortable saying no to other people’s demands that don’t serve you.
You get more comfortable playing the cards you’ve been dealt – being yourself! ...rather than trying to play a game of ‘life Poker’ without seeing your cards before you play them.
And one layer deeper, you start to see through the false illusions that are the conditioned beliefs, false identities, patterns, and ‘performance behaviours’ you’ve picked up along the way since you were little.

When you complete the exercise and pick your top 5, single out one really resonant limiting belief you hold, and write out the OPPOSITE of that belief. Choose your wording such that you like the sound of it. A single sentence…keep it brief. Then memorize it.
And I’m going to challenge you to look for evidence of this re-written belief.
Your RAS (reticular activating system) in your brain will get to work immediately finding you evidence of your re-written “opposite” belief. And you ALWAYS find what you are looking for. Just like when you notice how many people have the same car, same shirt, or same pants, etc. It’s the exact same principle applied to something MUCH more important. Your beliefs and daily experience of life!

As the great Louise Hay once said, “If you accept a limiting belief then it will become a truth for you.”
Indeed, you become what you think about. Your experience of life is just the sum total of your beliefs.
What you believe is what your life becomes.
Find your top limiting belief; re-write it as an opposite; and look for evidence daily.
